Arrival Day: Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport:

Meet and Greet by Tanzania active women team at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive 1hour to your accommodation in Arusha. (Accommodation option depends much on customer’s budget; we have options for low budget accommodations like homestays and hostels, Mid-budget accommodations as well as Luxury accommodations).

Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater – Overnight Karatu:

Day program: Breakfast at the hotel at 06:30 AM, departure from hotel at 07:30 AM and first drive to Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint.

  • Park Highlights: Spotting the world-renowned big five. Animals tend to gather around waterholes and rivers in the dry season.
  • Wildlife Highlights: All Africa Big-5, wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, black rhinoceros, lion, hartebeest, spotted hyena, hippopotamus, buffalo, elephant, mountain reedbuck, leopard, serval, ostrich, kori bustard, papilio sjoestedti & many.
  • Birdlife Highlights: Ostriches, guinea fowls, flamingos, cranes, bustard, storks, saddle bills, herons, white pelicans, plovers, secretary birds, eagles, bee eaters, kingfishers, woodpeckers, falcons, shrikes, paradise flycatchers, waxbills, and many more.

Day 2:Karatu to Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha:

Day program: Breakfast at the hotel at 06:30 AM, departure from hotel at 07:30 AM, drive to Tarangire National park for a day safari inside Tarangire National Park: Wildlife Highlights: Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Lion, Leopards, wilddog, Gerenuk, Oryx, Pythons, Gazelle, Buffalo and Abundant Elephant. Birdlife Highlights: Yellow necked spurfowl, Northern white crowned shrike, Black necked weaver, White faced whistling duck, Red, billed hornbill, Pygmy falcon, African marsh harrier, Woodland kingfisher, Black headed heron, African Hoopoe, Yellow billed stork, Lilac breasted roller, Open-bill stork, Ostrich, Superb starling, Red&Yellow Barbet.
